The Amspacker Wedding

When I think about Halcyon and Ben, the first thought that always comes to mind is how much Ben just adores Halcyon… You can just see it. When he looks at her, his eyes get a little misty and he is just smitten. It’s true love and it is the kind of look every girl dreams of.

Halcyon began her morning with lots of pampering. Her bridesmaids gathered around and did her makeup and hair. She. Looked. Stunning!

Her princess crown matched her personality perfectly!
I love a practical bride! Ugg boots for a winter wedding! She’ll have warm toes all through the vows!
Her gown sparkles!
She certainly looks like a fairy-tale bride!
And then her dad came out to see her for the first time… He just melted when he saw his baby girl in her wedding dress.

Ben was back at the Bay Shore Clubhouse getting ready. His outfit was complete with Beauty and the Beast cuff links!
I love all these details! But especially that hand made paper rose boutonniere!
We were planning a first glimpse for Ben with his sweet daughter… but his groomsman concocted this plan to have some fun with it… he dressed up in a thrift store wedding gown and Ben sure got a bit of a surprise! So funny!
The first glimpse with his daughter was still really sweet. it was so touching Ben had tears in his eyes…
True love… you can see it in their eyes.
Such a sweet first kiss. And then...
She realized that her lipstick had transferred to him! He didn’t mind to be marked by her.
We love this new little family.

Ben shook the tree right as we were finishing up his family photos! I love their surprised expressions!
And then a little bit later his mom got him back…
Inside Bay Shore Clubhouse was decked out… Beautiful Beauty and Beast decor made it seem so magical!
The merriment began!
These girls are so cute in their color coordinated Converses!
All the fellas had matching engraved pocket watches! Classy!
This was one of the most unique bouquets I have ever seen! Paper, fabric, buttons and charms… So beautiful, and light too! Most real flower bouquets give the bride a workout!
They both sang to each other throughout their first dance. It was very sweet!
I don’t know why, but the father and daughter dance always gets to me. Especially this one. Her dad worked so hard to hold back the tears...
but a tear trickled down his cheek anyway. He loves his baby girl.
What a gorgeous cake!
Ben got up and made an announcement… one of their guest’s home had a lot of damage in the recent 7.2 earthquake… so they passed this Christmas Stocking around and filled it up with money to help that family. It was a very thoughtful and tear filled moment.
Light the sparklers! Its time for the getaway!
