We are always on board for something different. When Hanna and Travis told us about their fun ideas for their elopement wedding, we were doing a virtual happy dance! Ok, so maybe a bit more than virtual.
We met up with Hanna at the Library in Sutton. You got that right… She got ready in the Library Bathroom… which worked out fantastic in the sleepy little town of Sutton Alaska.
Right outside the library, there is a sweet little historic site… The Alpine Historic Coal Washing Station. It has some really fun places to photograph the dress.
Hanna is one of the most genuine and stunning personalities you have ever met. Her beauty is through and through.
Oh I love this one. So pretty!
Hanna had gotten Travis a fun wedding day gift. This sneaky lady got him the hunting rifle of his dreams!
So when they had their first glimpse, Travis was also surprised with his new hunting rifle! It was a good thing too… they needed it later that afternoon.
But I think he was more taken with his bride.
How more Alaskan can you get? Hanna had her extra tuffs in true Alaskan form: muddy. She is the real deal.
Check out that view! After literally mud bogging on a two track trail to get here, it was so worth it!
Here is a little video of our crazy jeep ride up the mountain!

Look at that view! What a perfect place to say your vows!
What a great and unique boutonniere! They are made out of melted ammo lead and casings! So unique and absolutely perfect for their fun wedding.
When they began the most heartfelt and handwritten vows, there were laugh out loud moments as well as times with tears. As cheesy as it sounds, its true: these two have found true love.
More of those ammo flowers were in the bouquet!
Oh whoops! They forgot their cake knife. No worries, Travis pulled out his Zombie Apocalypse Knife.
And then, they blew up the cake. Travis used his brand new rifle to shoot the tannerite, causing ignition. It was effective.
After we picked up the pieces, they began their first dance in the back of their truck!
What a view! I love pretty much every single smoke bomb image, so it was so hard to choose!
After the majestic view, we went on down to Alpine Inn… which has some history for these two.
They did a shot with their awesome pistol shot glasses!
It was a wedding day adventure to remember! I love these two together!
