Emily & Aidan Carroll
When I think of Emily and Aidan and their wedding day, I think of apple pie a’la mode, a spur of the moment Sunday drive and the healthy bloom in the cheek of a young child. I think of things gone by and a sense of innocence and sweetness that isn’t often seen in today’s world. …and I truly love it.
Everyone cheered as they saw her in her gown for the first time!
Gorgeous! Emily’s smile is just radiant!
I just LOVE her bouquet… it reminded me of structured wildflowers in wedding colors!
Sassy and sweet, these bridesmaids had a lot of fun!
I was in love with the natural purples all around Emily! It is almost as though the wildflowers were planted just for her wedding colors!
All the shades of purple! So gorgeous!
As a surprise, the Bride’s mom and Auntie rented a limo for a wedding day treat! She was shocked and delighted!
Emily and her ladies rode to church in style!
When we met up with Aidan, he was looking very dapper!!
Not to be outdone by the ladies, these guys were hilarious with their crazy poses! So much fun!
When we got back to the church, everything was ready. There was a hush in the air, it was almost time to begin!
Grandma created a path of beautiful flower petals for her beautiful grand daughter!
Aidan was trying his best not to cry.. but he only succeeded in making everyone join him. It was a beautiful moment.
When Emily’s dad began to sing to the couple, I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
All the ladies of the church brought in their best baked goodies to celebrate the newlyweds! I am sure guests were thankful for the quick treat before heading to the reception.
What a great family! Even the family formals were super fun!
We drove to Emily’s favorite place: the high meadows of Hatchers Pass. We had robin egg blue skies and a ton of sunshine.
The wildflowers were stunning!
Our Amazing second shooter, Wayne, caught this fun shot of the girls tossing their bouquets… and then ducking when they landed.
Off to the reception! Emily and her crew had spent hours turning the Government Peak Chalet into a very sweet reception venue.
As they entered, they immediately swept into each other’s arms for their first dance. These two can really dance too. It was very fun.
The second shooter and I always make a little competition to see who can create and photograph the most tasty looking plate of food. Yep, that was my supper and it was delicious!
Another surprise! Emily’s mom made some tasty wine and had custom labels created for the event!
Isn’t this the cutest thing? For a unique touch, Emily painted a gumball machine in wedding colors! Fabulous idea!
There was so much laughter during the toasts!
This cute little polaroid and glue stick and colorful pens for the couple’s guest book. Take a selfie and then glue it in the book with a note for the couple!
Little did we know, the entire guest list was filled with dancers! I loved the fun atmosphere created by John with Vivid Sound and Lighting! He got people up and dancing!
A bicycle built for two, and a life filled with love.
Congratulations to Emily and Aidan! May your marriage be as sweet as your beautiful wedding day!
