Doell | Wedding

On her uncle’s private stretch of Alaskan coastline, I positioned myself, camera in hand, ready to capture the Doell’s extraordinary wedding. It’s an understatement to say that I have done a few weddings. To be true, I have witnessed countless unions of love.

But this one held a unique charm.

It may have been Alaska’s beauty combined with stunningly beautiful Julie, the bride.

But I suspect it was the tears of pure happiness that glistened in the eyes of the close family and friends that were able to attend. Each person was touched to their marrow by the deep connection shared by Julie & Joe.

Their first look followed by their private vows was absolutely beautiful.

With beautiful big tears of love, he told her he loved her.

And then the fireworks started!
