When I think of Erwin and Graces wedding, I just think Classy… tasteful… and very well planned. They both worked tirelessly for months… perhaps even years… to prepare the perfect wedding. Grace saw to every detail, and Erwin spent hours making surprises for Grace. These two are driven for the future and I am excited to see where their relationship takes them!
When I got to Grace’s room, she had just been handed one of those surprises from Erwin… A sweet gift that he had made just for her.
When she opened it, it was an engraved key chain and a photo book with engagement photos and the story of their relationship.
All the bridesmaids were there. Everyone was bustling about, getting ready for the big day.
That dress is so gorgeous!
I love her shoulder Jewelry. So unique and beautiful!
So beautiful!
Her bridesmaids are all super fun! She had known each one from a little girl, and they are all quite close!
Erwin was just about ready when I met up with him. He was relaxed and having a good time with his groomsmen.
We only had a few minutes for photos, and then we were off to the church.
Little people at weddings are some of my favorite. His bowtie is just a bit too tight.
Grace and her family arrived in one of Alaska Splendor’s luxurious limos. There were raindrops to greet her, but that couldn’t dampen her spirits!
The church was all decked out and ready to celebrate!
The little flower girls were so cute in the dresses that Grace made for them. When the littlest one got to the front of the church, she upended her basket and dumped out all the rest of the petals!
Erwin definitely agrees. He had tears running down his cheeks.
Grace’s mom and dad met her half way down the aisle.. I love how her mom’s hand is clasped to her breast as she goes to meet her.
After about an hour of sitting so quietly, the littlest flower girl fell fast asleep.
I love Erwin’s expression as he admires his new ring.
They had the limo all to themselves for a quick ride over to the downtown park.
Raindrops make everything so magical!
Back at the reception, things were stunningly prepared for all the guests! Rose and gold decor, signs and sweets. It was truly beautiful. I don’t know if I have ever seen the Captain Cook Hotel so gorgeously decorated.
The wedding party was introduced…
And then Erwin swept his bride into his arms for the first dance.
He ended their first dance by picking her up and twirling her around the dance floor. It was very romantic.
After the priest offered up a prayer, the feast began! All the favorites: roast pork, lumpia, prime rib… it was all delicious!
If you like a good story, you would have loved these toasts!
I love how how the Filipino weddings do the dollar dance.. by pinning the couple with cash!
After the cake was cut, the dessert bar opened up. It was so pretty! I’m sure the kiddos had a hard time resisting until then!
Seems like the perfect place to take a pretty ring photo.
For the garter toss, Lou from R & R Entertainment made a special announcement… the fella to catch the garter would also take home a $100 bill! Thats some incentive for you!
Awww, I love this shot of Grace and her mom. Such a special moment. So much deep love.
For another fun twist, Grace had some of her friends that are Zumba instructors come out and lead some awesome salsa songs! It really got the party pumping!
Out in the hallway, the photo booth was a real treat!
The music was still pumping and the party was going strong! But we had to leave. It was one of our very favorite weddings of the summer! We felt very honored that these two chose us to be there.
