Portia and Sebastian
Crow Creek Mine
We here at Ambience Photography are so thankful to have the kinds of clients like Sebastian and Portia. These two and their family and friends are down home, sweet as pie, funny as comedians… just the kind of people you’d want to spend an afternoon hanging out with. We are so lucky they invited us to do so!
When I met up with Sebastian, he was just about to open a gift from his bride: a gorgeous new belt buckle to go with his amazing country style wedding attire. Pretty classy!
Meanwhile, all the girls were over in Grandpas cabin getting ready. Portia’s daughter was in love with her mamas wedding gown. Actually she adores everything about her mama. What a sweet relationship those two have.
Gorgeous!
Oh I love this one:
Portia’s son led Sebastian to his mom for their first glimpse. I love the use of the cowboy hat to hide his eyes!
So sweet!
The rain forest surrounding Crow Creek Mine is so pretty with the tall trees and green undergrowth!
Since it was the day before the Fourth of July, the colors were very patriotic!
Family is so hugely important to these guys. I just love the special relationships that these two have with all of their parents… but I especially loved these.
The upper meadow with the wedding pavilion was all ready with the American flag as the backdrop to their vows.
When the little ones came down the aisle, Portia’s daughter was shy and hid behind her brother. It was so cute.
Then the two knelt for a blessing from Portia’s parents.
The Star Spangled banner was played and there was so much respect and honor for our nation… I saw more than one tear.
It cracked me up how her son hid his eyes with his cowboy hat! Don’t want to see mom kissing!
They took a moment to sign the paper to make things official!
What could be better than Jack Daniels Bottles painted for centerpieces!
One thing I love about country weddings… these folks KNOW HOW TO DANCE! They were fabulous!
At the end of the dance, Sebastian gave his mom a kiss and a tear rolled down his cheek. So much love.
Moments like these are why we love what we do.
I’m in love with this patriotic cake!
Did I mention that these people love to dance? They even built a temporary dance floor so more people could join in!
Sebastian’s ring was passed down through the generations. I love the history in the chips in his ring!
Confetti and cheers followed them out of the mine!
A new family has begun!
