St Andrews Catholic Church is always so pretty, but especially in the early morning light of fall.
Clare started her day off with pampering by the amazing team at Wild Women Bridal AK… and when she mentioned the Wild Women, Clare said “They were PHENOMINAL!”
That gorgeous gown! I love all the tiny details of the dress.
I love that Clare had a first look with her dad!

And then her dad stood by her side as she had her first look with the groom. It was a tear jerker for sure!
The couple then chose to share their private vows and though I couldn’t hear their private words, I could see their heart. And it was gorgeous. Tears were flowing.
Brides! Write this down! Clare cut an 18 inch hole or so into a fitted sheet and then stepped into the hole and pulled the sheet up and over her shoulders to protect the gown while she walked… worked like a charm!

And then the priest gave the thumbs up, and it was time for the beautiful ceremony.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by both of her parents.

And then we went for a little drive up to the mountains to enjoy the beautiful scenery

I just adore a practical Alaskan bride! It was a bit of a hike to get up to our vantage point, and Clare left her dancing shoes back in the car
At the reception, the couple entered with a sword archway!
And then immediately went into their first dance! And these two can DANCE!
That gown!!
And then she did her father daughter dance… holy smokes the dancing just got better!
Ans the mother son dance was super sweet and heartfelt.
