The Higgins Wedding
Well I can tell you what… The Higgins beautiful backyard wedding was so detail rich that there are a ton more photos of pretty little decorations than I normally share… Emily’s mom worked so hard and actually finished all of her pinterest projects with decor to spare! I don’t know if I have ever seen so many beautiful custom decorations. It was really fun and beautiful! Joby’s mom helped him pin his flower. There were many happy tears that day, and this was one of those times. What could be more natural for Joby than a tussle with his dogs on his wedding day? What an amazing touch… all those vintage decorations! Emma was feeling relaxed and happy when it came time for her photos. Of course we had to photograph the bride amongst some of her amazing decor. The guests began to gather at the base of the gorgeous archway made by Joby. Yep, that’s his lovely bull moose antlers center stage. The guests experienced a rare Alaskan condition… too much hot sun! So much love and so many happy tears for this wedding. Their expression says it all! Joby and Emma love to fish for Salmon in the Little Sue River, just moments away from their home. It was the perfect place to begin their bride and groom photos. Joby is a heavy equipment operator by trade, so these photos on the antique CAT were perfect!! Gorgeous, Emma! <3 Back to the amazing reception for some killer food… including Joby’s favorite: Mom’s potato salad. He made sure everyone had a hearty taste of that goodness. Meanwhile the kids were kept entertained with lots of fun and games at the kids table! The guests signed a slice of wood for the guest book. A guest Log. What a cute idea. Gorgeous cake! They had some fun with the cake smash… and followed it up with a kiss. Congratulations to Joby and Emma! One of Alaska’s most fun and happy couples!
