The Matteson Wedding

On that magical summer day, in beautiful Alaska, true love was shared. After a stormy summer, the weather graced us with gentle breezes, drifting clouds and just a few raindrops, setting the stage for a celebration of love that would be etched in the hearts of all present.

The soft light of the morning streamed through the windows, I found myself in a room filled with laughter, excitement, and the hushed whispers of friendship. As the Bride and her ladies prepared her for her wedding, they enjoyed the most beautiful grazing board by AK Berry & Board.

The gifts were a testament to the bride’s thoughtfulness, a gesture that spoke volumes about the bond shared with her bridesmaids.

As a surprise, Olivia had a special tie made for Davin.

Olivia’s hair was swept into place by the incredibly talented Jackie Helgesen and then adorned with real flowers arranged by The Teal Door.

There is just something about the mountains.

Briarwood Farms is the perfect blend of luxury and nature. The views are stunning and the service, exceptional.

Davin’s breath caught as he turned and saw his bride for the first time.

And then back to the reception, where the amazing Dylan with Wild Rose Weddings and Events had everything beautifully placed with the most sumptuous attention to detail.

The father daughter dance always gets to me. All the feels.

As she danced with her boy, she had tears just running. Thats a mama’s love.

The Groom’s mom made this gorgeous cake for them. It was stunning! What a beautiful gift.

Olivia and Davin, As I reflect on the incredible day spent capturing your beautiful wedding, I am filled with gratitude. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such a special moment in your lives. Your love illuminated every frame. It was an honor to witness and document the start of your journey together.
