Prnka {Wedding}

When we come to weddings one of the things we love to see is a couple that are so ideally suited for each other! Matthew and Melody are that. Melody is an absolute hoot. She has the prettiest eyes that just sparkle while she makes you laugh! And Matthew just absolutely adores her. His favorite thing is to lavish her with gifts and love and she just soaks it up. It is a really beautiful friendship and that translates into the best kind of marriage.

The flowers were so beautiful! They were done by Diana Frame.

We were excited to enjoy one of our newest venues here in the Valley… The Gathering Place! And it is gorgeous! Check out that view!

Matthew was in the barn finishing up getting ready.

He was looking very dapper!

Melody was over in the main house. What a perfect location for a bridal prep!

Melody’s really good friend Diana helped her with all the planning and decorations, and then even helped her get ready!

When she came out of the room and her very dear friends saw her for the first time, there were gasps, tears and happy smiles.

She was so beautiful!

And her happiness was the perfect accessory.

And then Matthew came out…

And they were nothing but smiles!

I know, right? What a view!

Melody’s ladies wouldn’t have missed this day for the world!

And a red breasted robin came to pose for this shot of Melody and her sister.

What a gorgeous sunny day! Before ceremony, we had Melody take a break, get out of the heat, and prepare herself for one of the most special moments of her life!

And then it was time:

Matthew was fighting back tears.

There she was. And a happier bride was never seen!

Simply gorgeous!

Married!

While the guests made their way to the reception, we took a moment to make things legal!

The reception hall was so gorgeous! That beautiful light and Melody’s fantastic taste really made it nice!

A little back story: Just after Matthew got that amazing ring for Melody, they happened to be shopping at Cabelas. That ring was burning a hole in Matthew’s pocket, so guess where he asked her to marry him? The Cabella’s candy aisle. (I didn’t even know Cabelas had Candy!) She’ll never let him forget it, haha. So the candy bar was a fun little wink to that moment, and an important part of the day… candies from Cabelas.

And also the perfect place to take photos of those rings!

North Star Bakery pulled out all the stops and made a delicious Turkey Dinner for everyone! Starting with salads and ending with the traditional turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes.

It was a great family atmosphere!
