Oh, I just love it when Alaska shows off for my bride and grooms! Here we were, the first day of April, and the sky was bluer than blue… and while it WAS chilly, we were still able to make some amazing photos outdoors.
I was pretty excited for this wedding for a couple of reasons…. #1, the wedding was held at the Palmer Depot, which is super fun since that happens to be the same place I said my vows to my sweet huz almost 14 years ago…. and #2, because I got to try out my new assistant, Michael. He did great, by the way. You’ll see a few of his photos in this set, and if you are a bride, chances are you’ll meet him in a month or two because he is going to be working with me a lot. :o)
Here are three pretty shots of his, in fact:
Poor Shelley had the worlds worst cold for her wedding day, but you sure can’t tell from the photos! She looks amazing! Even with as sick as she was, I was very impressed at her dogged determination to make the most of her day.
You just gotta see one more shot of that… Soo pretty! Aren’t these reflection shots fun!
Jim snuck up behind Shelley for the first glimpse…. Sooo sweet! :o)
Love this one:
Jim looks so dashing!
But we gotta have some nice ones too!
We had a few minutes to get some fun ring shots.
