Amber and James were married at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge in July.. and it was gorgeous!
While Amber was getting her hair done, she worked on writing some of the most touching vows I have ever heard.
6 pairs of Toms equals six pairs of comfortable bridesmaid’s feet!
Amber sent a special package over to James… a pair of tall socks with his favorite sports team…. Included with the gift was a cute little note: In case you get cold feet!
Amber also had a special gift for her dad… when he opened it they both just cried…
While tricky to keep the groom from seeing the bride, it was awesome to have the bride and groom’s prep rooms side by side. We were able to pop back and forth to catch a lot of those little moments… like when James’ mom pinned on his boutonniere
While in James’ room, we ran across his handwritten vows… so sweet!
The cutest little ring bearer was getting ready too!
These were great moments with James and his groomsmen!
This little ring bearer ROCKED the mafia photo…
Amber is just stunning beyond belief! Look at those eyes!!
Love these girls’ monogrammed robes! What a fun touch!
Gorgeous!
This crew is hilarious! I told dad to give her a kiss… and this is what he did at first. Amber pulled him down by his tie for a real one after. 🙂
The beautiful bridesmaids:
Love a practical bride! These girls had comfortable feet all night in those cute Toms! Especially nice for Amber’s preggo sister / bridesmaid!
We can tell where James gets his good looks from… what a beautiful mama!
Off to the ceremony… As a really nice touch, as the bridesmaids and groomsmen separated at the end of the aisle, each groomsman would kiss the hand of the bridesmaid they escorted. Classy!
Amber’s dad must be such a soft hearted guy… he wept the whole way down the aisle to give his baby girl away…
James’ grandpa was the officiate. There were so many sweet moments during the ceremony.. I wish this blog post could be bigger so I could share more with you.
Mr & Mrs! <3
Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge always has such nice places for backgrounds. Love that venu!
Gorgeous! Love that blue sky.
Bustling the gown…
Oh my goodness.. you should have seen these decorations! Amber had Cory from AK Bouquet make these amazing flowers…
They came to the reception and immediately began their first dance…
Neither of these two escaped unscathed. <3
The guests were rolling as Eric from Alaska Professional Entertainment led the shoe game… It was really funny!
Flower toss!
The music was so fun that even James’ grandma began to dance!
Look at these adorable personalized goblets that Amber had made at…you guessed it… Etsy. Just cute!
And then we had to make our thank you photo to be included with their thank you card. It turned out great, huh!
