The Strabel wedding

 On Sunday I ran into a friend at church… and she asked me if there was any chance I could sneak in a wedding on Wednesday for her son, Mark.  I thought about it for a bit and agreed, though I rarely do that because my schedule is so full already.  Boy was I glad I did, because Mark and Stacy are a unique kind of couple and wanted unique photos to match.

I met up with Stacy at Mountain Streams Bed and Breakfast (which is a gorgeous place, by the way) for her bridal prep.

Stacy and I went outside to work with the beauty of the summer day. And it didn’t even rain (which is a rare thing this summer, ha ha).

Love this one:Then we drove up the mountain to Summit Lake… which was shrouded with a cloud at the time. Beautiful and ethereal.

 

The intimate ceremony included just a handful of family and friends… down at the lower pond of the B & B.

Mom’s happy tears…

Both Stacy and Mark are runners… In fact, I was told that at one time Stacy was the fastest runner in the state.  What a perfect opportunity to do the “running shot”.
