The Stumetz Wedding

 Brittany and Jeremy were married among their

dear family and friends on July 3, 2010. 

I was so pleased to be a part because I have worked with this family before and knew them all to be really sweet people!

 The morning began with Brittany and Jeremy heading to Bobby’s Bakery for a sweet wedding day breakfast. Afterwards, we met up and made a few photos at Brittany’s parent’s home.

 

 

 

Brittany went to the salon, me and my crew went out for coffee (Yay! Rare for a wedding day)… and Jeremy went to the church and took a nap in the nursery. I snuck in and got this.         And  for the record… his dad tipped me off to the nap.

While the girls were upstairs getting ready, the groom and groomsmen were downstairs doing the same.

This was too funny… I told the bridesmaids that they could do whatever they wanted since they were going to be out of focus… and so they did a little dancing! 🙂

And so the wedding began. 🙂

Love this one… Dad is so proud… Brittany is glowing… and Mom just looks lovingly on.

Brittany’s dad is always creative in how he gives his daughter’s away… The last wedding I shot for the Venhaus family, he gave the groom his shoe in the order of Boaz and Ruth…

This time he gave Jeremy a bag of dirt with a story and these words: “And now you have the dirt on Brittany”  Too funny! 🙂   I love creative people!

This shot is a special one, since when I shot Brittany’s sister’s wedding the year before, we used the same chair… We wanted to duplicate it for her parent’s wall.  Two gorgeous sisters, that is for sure! 🙂

And then Jeremy wanted in on the action! He just cracks me up! Such a great sense of humor.

And then we covered a teensy bit of  the reception….
