Marriage. Weddings. Bride. Groom.
They can sometimes seem cliche, but I feel so lucky to see two people that love each other make the ultimate commitment. These guys have been together for years and years, but on this day, they promised it really would be forever., and that is more than a big deal.
Here are a few of the vendors that helped to make Carol and Angelo’s day truly sparkle:
Photographer: Ambience Photography
Coordinator: La Boum Events
Videographer: Reginald Soriano
Caterer: Muse
Cake: AK Cake Studio
Gown: Sottero & Midgley; Retialer: Stardust Celebrations in Plano, TX
Shoes: Badgley Mischka
Flowers: Hummingbird Floral by Jocilen Broiles
DJ: John Ondago with Ondago Entertainment
Carol has been preparing for this day for a lifetime.
And she has been preparing her whole lifetime for this man.
With a bridal prep this beautiful, it makes me get so super excited for the portraits!
What a gown! It is a Sottero & Midgley from Stardust Celebrations in Plano Texas.
Angelo’s mom helped him with his boutonniere and then sweetly kissed him on the cheek.
HIs custom suit.
Carol finished up getting ready and whoa, what a beauty.
The first look is always a favorite moment. Angelo stands in anticipation as his bride sneaks up behind him.
He knows she is there and all he can hear is the whisper of her dress as she approaches.
And then she was in his arms…
And that is when that lone tear trickled down his cheek.
The flowers were from Hummingbird Floral by Jocelin Broiles and they were beautiful!
Their videographer, Reginald Soriano did a fantastic job… He was a fun guy!
One of the adorable ring bearers showed up… and the whole world lit up with his smile!
I love how the bride is coaching the flower girl to smile!
12 Groomsmen!
And then we went to the First United Methosit Church in Anchorage for the ceremony.
Laura with La Boum was the coordinator on site at the church, and she did such a fantastic job bringing Carols ideas from dreams to reality.
Love this idea: Take a wand, wave it high as the happy couple passes by! You’ll see it in use later!
The priest stopped with the ladies for a few moments in prayer. I love the children’s response… they joined in reverently. One ring bearer crossed himself, another listened intently and a flower girl shushed the other children respectfully. What a great group of kids!
And then it was time. The guests gathered for the big moment.
The ring bearers made the announcement and then spotted her first!
There she is!
Everyone waved those wands as they exited the church! The celebration was beginning!
When we got to the Anchorage Museum it was so stunningly decorated! I don’t know how Rebecca from LaBoum did it with as little time as she had! From a cafeteria to a beautiful wedding hall.. It was a beautiful transformation!
When I checked in with Carol and Angelo… they were practicing their beautiful first dance up in the Rassmusen Wing of the museum. What a romantic place for a dance!
And then it was time to join the reception. They started at the top of the long stairway…
And everyone cheered!
Then Angelo took Carol into his arms and they began their STUNNING first dance
Guests enjoyed the beautiful Korean and Filipino Appetizers almost as much as they enjoyed each other and mingling.
The guest book was a unique magnet wall decoration…
Angelo’s mom greets her new daughter so lovingly! I think they will get along really nicely!
The marble and gold cake by AK Cake Studio was perfect to go with their theme of Navy, Marble and Gold!
I don’t know about you but looking at these gorgeous photos of this tasty food by Muse Catering has me hungry for some Korean deliciousness!
Even the kids were thought of…Mini Corndogs and dipping sauces!
We all know a cake is meant to be cut and then eaten, but it is such a shame when it is as beautiful as this one!
Angelo just about had everyone crying with how tenderly he danced with his mom.
And then the traditional dollar dance! Everyone joined in!
Oh this is a favorite moment… the Flower Girl learns to dance on her daddy’s shoes!
The AB Photobooth Company had everyone making and creating hilarious photos to take as keepsakes!
We went outside to recreate a photo from Angelo’s youth… All the same guys together was a real treat!
Hey there Reggie! Great job on the boom! We can’t wait to see the video!
By this time, the dance floor was packed!
