Gabriel and LauraBeth Woodmansee
You know it is going to be a great wedding when there is a huge sign with my favorite Dr Seuss quote… “When we find someone who’s weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness and call it love, true love.”
I don’t know if Gabe and LauraBeth are weird… but I do know that I enjoy them both a great deal!
LauraBeth decided to get married at her parents house on BigLake. It was the perfect setting to proclaim love.
Gabe spent the entire morning stuck in the basement so he didn’t accidentally see his future wife until their first glimpse. He was a happy camper when I came down to do his photographs because that meant he got to leave the space!
Not only that, it was his birthday! Hopefully he should be able to remember his Anniversary date!
Upstairs, LauraBeth was just about finished getting ready! She is such a beautiful lady!
I spotted this little gift that Gabe got for his new mom in law!
So beautiful!
They chose to do their first glimpse on the dock! Laura Beth came up behind Gabe and put her hands over his eyes… and then kissed him on the cheek! It was so sweet and adorable!
The lake was the perfect setting for their photos!
You can see how much fun these two have!
LauraBeth’s shoes gave a very nice pop of her coral accent color!
LauraBeth’s sister was the perfect Bridesmaid! Love this shot of the attendant’s reaction to the kiss.
Love how the best man helped out with the flowers!
Marriage is the blending of two families! I love this shot of both the Woodmansees and the Dodds! So much fun!
The sky was so blue, and grass and leaves so green! After weeks of rain, it was so nice that these two had such lovely weather for their wedding!
Gabe’s smile couldn’t have gotten any bigger! He was so excited to marry his best friend!
After the couple left, Gabe’s little brother rang the bell with great joy!
Friends and Family made their way to the gazebo behind the Reagan Building for a sweet reception… We followed, but on the way, the bride and groom and I met at the Transportation Museum to make some super fun photos with the old vehicles and trains!
We had some fun with the lighting on this one with this old helicopter!
When I met with LauraBeth, she said that they didn’t really have a theme other than old wood and succulent greens… it was so simple and beautiful!
For a guest book, guests wrote on their Jenga Piece… and add date ideas into a wedding bucket list! Love this one: Skinny dip in a waterfall!
The feast was made by family and friends! These ladies worked tirelessly to be sure that the tasty and healthy food satisfied every guest! It was some tasty stuff!
This was some seriously good eats!
Instead of a wedding cake, the bride and groom had a fruit bouquet! They each fed each other a gorgeous piece of delicious fruit and created a wonderful new tradition!
And as the day turned into evening, we went outdoors to make some closure photos… they were so beautiful!
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Woodmansee! We enjoyed every minute of her day!
